Pinnacle stayed with the black color theme in their 1992 set of football cards. However, the front of the cards switched from a white border to a black one and had only one photo of the player. The backs of the cards went to a horizontal orientation yet maintained the same great symmetry that the '91 Pinnacle cards had. The team logo was a 3-D picture of the actual team helmet as opposed to the profile helmet of the previous year. There was a head photo and the usual player info and statistics also on the back. On the front of some cards a blue diamond logo with the year on it designated the rookie cards. The 1992 Browns Team set included rookies Patrick Rowe, Tommy Vardell, and Roderick Milstead.
