The 1991 Fleer set was a step down from the 1990 Fleer set because it replaced the game background behind the player with a solid color. Fleer continued placing the year of the card's issue beside their logo which I don't mind but the lettering of the player's name and position looks scrunched up with no symmetry. The backs once again had a head photo and year by year stats of each player but this left little to no room for biographical information.
