For their 2009 set of football cards Bowman used a draft theme. The fronts of the cards had the usual beautiful photos of the players in game action. The veterans' cards had brown bordering on the front while the rookie cards used green bordering and a RC shield logo. One new aspect I like is that for the first time Bowman used photos of the rookies in their college uniforms and put the name of the college at the top of the card. On the backs of the cards there were "Draft Reviews" which gave the year of the player's draft and their college backgrounds.
