Cleveland Browns 2006 Bowman Football Cards
(Complete Set)
The 2006 Bowman cards are nicely designed with a return to a gray border which framed beautiful game-action photos of the players. The names are printed with silver letters below the photo and as had become Bowman's trademark, the veterans cards have a red theme while the rookie cards have a blue theme. The backs of the cards kept the "Bowman Briefing" with the usual information about each player. The rookie cards in the Browns team set include defensive end Kamerion Wimbley, quarterback Darrell Hackney, wide receiver Travis Wilson, and defensive back DeMario Minter. There are also three notable rookie cards of linebacker D'Qwell Jackson, fullback Lawrence Vickers, and running back Jerome Harrison. Harrison's card shows his Washington State University record-setting 1900 yards he gained in 2005. He would go on to set the Browns team record for most yards gained in a single game and the 3rd best-ever total in NFL history with 286 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs in 2009. |
