The 2004 Bowman cards had a gray border framing a game-action photo. The players names were in large silver foil letters below the photo. As had become Bowman's design style, veterans cards had a red theme and the rookie cards had a blue theme. The backs of the cards kept the "Bowman Briefing" information about each player along with a photo. The rookie cards in the Browns team set include safety Nigerian-born running back Adimchinobe Echemandu, defensive end Amon Gordon, safety Sean Jones, and Louisiana Tech quarterback Luke McCown, and Miami University tight end Kellen Winslow, Jr.
