Action Packed Company created and issued football cards from 1990-1997. Pinnacle Brands acquired Action Packed in 1995 and Donruss/Playoff Brands acquired Pinnacle in 1998. These cards were embossed photos of players in action during a game and were twice as thick as traditional football cards. The backs of the cards include an "Action Note" which describes the play shown on the front of the card. The 1993 Browns Team Set includes one rookie card, Michigan Center Steve Everitt. Browns head coach Bill Belichick drafted him in the first round with the 14th overall pick. This set also includes two Monday Night Football cards of Bernie Kosar and Clay Matthews. The front of these cards has the date of the scheduled Monday Night Football game September 30, 1993 between the Browns and the San Francisco 49ers. The Browns won this game 23-13 in Cleveland. The backs of these cards lists plays that each player made in previous Monday Night games.
