Action Packed Company created and issued football cards from 1990-1997. Pinnacle Brands acquired Action Packed in 1995 and Donruss/Playoff Brands acquired Pinnacle in 1998. These cards were embossed photos of players in action during a game and were twice as thick as traditional football cards. The backs of the cards include an "Action Note" which describes the play shown on the front of the card. The 1991 Browns Team Set includes the rookie cards (which Action Packed distinguished from non-rookie cards by using red highlighting) of safety Eric Turner, wide receiver Michael Jackson, and defensive lineman James Jones.
